He carried a man on his back through the park
where children played with gas masks on their noses
They cannot talk or laugh
muffled laughs hurt when they cannot get out
The children are lost in the haze
THis maze
He carried a man on his back thru the jungles
Where acid rain falls from the skies
torturing the trees
scorching the ground
Where there is no sound
but silence and God sighing.
He carreid a man on his back through the war zones
Guns silenced by the great One
who came and said enough the time has come
and none of you have won
He carried a man on his back wailing and cryin
for the planet earth wat is slowly dyin
He carried a man on his back and said where do i run
there is no place to go
ANd the great One said run to me son
He carried a man on his back who was a stranger
carriying him through all the dangers
